I've had three F150's going back to the early '80's.  All were/are fine trucks.  The mid 90's versions are very nice looking trucks.

This is the current model: 1996 Eddie Bauer 4.9 6 cyl. 5sp. manual.

Wow man! Thats a dandy lookin F-150! Around here seems nice ones like that are hard to find. These older fords like to make rust around the rear wheel arcs, cab corners, and lower front fender panels. But that 300 inline 6 sure runs good! scout4<><

I agree.  It is difficult to find one these days that doesn't have rust around the cab corners or rear wheel wells.  I had the cab corners replaced on my '82 Custom.

Thanks for the kind words.  It helps that she is now relegated to fair weather driving only and weekend cruising.

I really like the pre 97 Fords. From the mid 80s to '96 Ford made some good looking trucks. My old '86 F150 4x4 still sits up back after Matt blew up the motor for the SECOND time. But now it's his as he bought it from me. He claims he's gonna rebuild it again one day but I have to wonder.

My last Bronco was a '92 I also had new '85 and '88 model Broncos. I'd love to find a really nice clean '95 or '96 F250 4x4 and a Bronco as well.

I have a bit of a love hate relationship with these trucks and have owned a couple. On one hand I love anything with an I6 but on the other hand I absolutely despise ford's retarded twin I beam front suspension in all it's forms.

I guess that's why I now have 2 4.0 powered solid axle Jeeps

scout 4:  Very nice!  Congrats!

I owned a '94 XLT with the I-6 and a 5sp.  I traded it for a new '03 Ranger 4X4.  The Ranger is nice and does what I need, but I missed having the '94.  I looked for a while to find a decent 94-96 2wd I-6 and finally found the '96 pictured above in Pa.  Unfortunatly they are getting old.  Finding a real decent one is becoming difficult.

Graybeard:  I had an '82 Custom.  It was the same model design as your '86.  Those were very nice looking truck's.  I'm not much on the '87 model generation.  The front was rather flat-faced.  None the less, with the proper package, any F150 will do the job.
