I read this article this morning.   The 72 yr old owner tried to avoid the confrontation but the punks just kept escalating.   Thank God for the 12 g pump and the owner's grit to use when necessary.

Yep, Mr. Augusto killed two scumbags and wounded two others with three shots from his shotgun.  Good on Mr. Augusto.  The scumbag with the gun had nine previous arrests:  He was hit square in the face by a shotgun blast.   Needless to say, the perp will never be arrested again. 

The far left NYC persecutor is looking for something to charge Mr. Augusto with.

I read about this earlier today, I applaud him for doing what “had to be done”  I just can’t understand why some of the neighbors were so upset about him shooting the thugs, after all wasn’t he protecting himself and others.  I guess this is just the mentality of the New Yorker; it is OK to be a victim as long as you don’t take action to protect yourself.

The news is reporting it as a "vigilante" shooting and the news also only quotes those it wants to quote. I think that as many if not more new yorkers are all for what the old man did, But you never know they keep electing bloomberg and his ilk.

Police said they were going to charge the ol guy with not having a permit for his 30 year old shotgun, they also took his gun. POWDERMAN.  >:( >:(

The article I read this morning stated Police Commisioner Kelley came out and defended Augusto's actions as lawful self defense, and did not violate any NY statutes.

The left leaning, Bloomberg sucking, press are the ones that got things wrong about the permit.    If asked the question "did he have a permit for this shotgun?"   the answer is "no" ....because shotguns do not need a permit.    Shotguns must be registered in NYC, and Augusto's shotgun was indeed registered.  No charges here.

my brother is in NYC and only has a shotgun. Six more years until retirement and he is outta there. I need to ask him if he has it registered.
