Which of these two hearing protection sets would you say gives the best results as to hearing surrounding natural sounds and protection against gun blast?

i have used two different brands and found wind noise to be a real burden as that was all i can hear took the first one back after adjusting all of the filter setting.  the constant hissing was worse for me i have had no luck with any type of hearing aid.

I gave my amplified ear pro to my kids for range use, and just stick with custom molded earpro with a cutout baffle. I can hear most things fine, and it closes at the right db. I've got some hearing damage left over from a close encounter with an IED, so the hiss in the amplified muffs make me functionally deaf.
