mu plug + mmp sabots = a fine thang !!!!!

the mu plug is a great addition to my huntsman...
zero blow back and easy installation and removal of primers!!!!!!!

 since i have around 600, 300gr rem .458 sjhp bullets, i went search'n for a
sabot... and found mmp sabots to have this critter...

so this morn'n i tested my newly improved huntsman.

and it will run rings around the t/c shock wave and hornady stuff with .452 250gr.

the 300gr .458 rem sjhp has

only a 3" drop @100yrds!!!!!! than center @50yrds, thats still well in the (kill zone)..

the h&r plug and carriers are now in the bottom of bycor swamp!!!

my hats off to nick -metrics unlimited, and mmp sabots fer make'n my hunt'n experiance much more fun!!!!!!!!

i jus placed another order with mmp for some sabots to use with .400 180gr bullets!!!
mite make a neat critter-getter

and have recommended nick's mu plug to other h&r ml nuts in my area!!!

What powder are you using, and how much? 5/8" or 7/8" plug? And I agree, the MU Plug is a great addition to the Huntsman and Sidekick.

 i'm use'n pyrodex pellets 100gr.... very dirty!!!!!!
will be try'n bh209 soon...
since the cleaning process has got to be done anyway, i mite stick to the pellets for
faster reload'n.... or i can precharge vials with the bh209... thats another test/fun project!!!

do any of y'all know of a cleaner pellet???
