I use a lot of Benchmark in my 308 Win and 223 Rem loads.  In fact, Benchmark is the only rifle powder I have on hand at the moment.  Recently my son bought a WASR type AK in 7.62x39 and wanted me to make up some reloads for him.  I found Benchmark data in the Sierra Edition V manual for .308 dia. 125 gr, 135 gr, and 150 gr, as well as .311 dia. 125 gr bullets.
I have used 28.0 gr. of Benchmark and 125 gr. (.308) Speer TNT bullets, and 123 gr (.311) no name SP bullets with great results.
They function perfectly in the rifle.  Both diameter bullets were equally accurate and on par with the factory Remington and Federal rounds we started with.
