Seems people often ask if the parts for a model or caliber will fit another, and given for instance, a Ruger Blackhawk or Vaquero in 357 and one in 45Colt, almost every part of the revolver is identical except the bore size and in the Vaquero, the hammer, as it doesn't have to clear the adjustable rear sight. Neither Ruger, nor any other maker makes a gun with completely different parts just because it's a different caliber or model, they are on the same frame (except for the OM Rugers where the big bores had a larger frame), but even in those, the lockwork was interchangable. It's like asking if the windshields are interchangable between a Chevvy six and V8.
The only difference between a SBH and a BH hammer is the shape if the spur.
