7mm-08 load data

does anyone know where i can find load data for a 7mm-08 using accurate 4350 or h4350 and a hornady 120 grain v max bullet? my friend picked up the wrong bullets and cant find any data using those 2 powders.thanks. dj

deerjackie,

I think you might be having trouble finding data with 4350 and the 120 bullet.  I think that powder is a bit too slow for that case capacity and that bullet.  Yet, I suspect there is data out there.  Velocity will pobably suffer as a faster powder would be better...

According to Hodgdon's website, H4350 gives velocities for 120-grain bullets within 80 fps of their fastest load in the 7-08.   No one would ever notice such a trivial difference.

i looked at the hogdon website and saw nothing for h 4350 and 120 gr vmax. can you limk it to me? maybe i need glasses. thanks yall

i saw where they tested nos bt. with different pwders but not a hornady v max.would that data work on a vmax?  my lee book is 12 years old and some say its outdated?  dj

Hornady Seventh Edition lists AA 4350 for the 120gr V-Max (42.6gr start - 46.6gr MAX) but nothing for IMR 4350 or H4350.

You should be OK using Hogdon's data for the 120gr Nosler BT as long as you begin with the starting load and work up.
