line of bullet / arc of shot / raise and fall of 240 gr.sabot and 100 pyrodex

ok here is my question...

i was shooting today (yay) 50 cal. inline with 4x30 scope.. max distance in the area is 50yards.

i was shooting 2x 50gr. pyradex pellets. with a sabot 240 gr. bullet

my stand ( standing like in the field ) shooting without a rest was about 2-3 inches high centered..

what is the trajectory for this combo. so at 100 yards and 125 yards where would i be hitting in theory.

any idea what the arc would be.. like the 30-30

sited high 3" at 50yards is on at 110yards and 2-3" low at 200yard area

and what my maximum range would be for a clean safe kill...(i know my shooting ability)im thinking around 125 yards

From the Hornady ballistic charts:

With the 240 XTP, and 2 of the 50 gr Pyrodex pellets

If you sight 1.9 inches high at 50 yards, you will be 2.3 inches high at 100 yards, and dead on at 150 yards.
After that, the bullet drops off real fast.

If you think your maximum shot would be 125 yards, make it 1.5 inches high at 50 yards and you are good to go!

This is not exactly what you wanted but it might give you an idea.  If I knew the velocity of the 240 with your load I could create one of these for you - but I do not shoot the 240 and I have not shot enough Pyro to estimate a guess.  This chart was based on 100 grains of T7 which is a bit hotter than you 100 grains of Pyro.
