I have a Contender barrel made by TC with " Fox River Custom " on the left side.
It is a Diamond  Back barrel ( the top 1/2 is shaped like a 3 sided diamond, the bottom is 1/2 round tapered. It has 4 mag-na ports, 12 in long and is in .223.
I have never seen or heard of one like it.
Does anybody know anything about this barrel?

I had a fox ridge barrel years ago in 22 mag that was listed as a scalloped barrel. It sounds like the same configuration that you are talking about, but mine had a vent rib on the top also. Cool little barrel. Wish I still had it.
