Just an FYI, Vortex Optics are imported, they're designed, inspected and serviced by a US owned and operated company, they're made in Japan, China or Taiwan depending on the model.

No doubt about that, some of the best buys in optics are imports.  ;)

I have a Nikon Omega on mine. Love the eye relief and the clarity of the optics. I let a friend borrow my USH 20 last year and he killed an eight and a doe with it and Buckhammers. He loved it so much ha bought and set up one identical to mine. I caught a sale on the Omega from Natchez for 149.99 and he ordered one. We lined it up at 50yds the other day and he is cutting bullet holes the same as mine.

I just put a Leupold Rifleman 3X9X40 scope on my USH 20Ga.  The optic is clear and bright.

Before putting it on I was had some concerns with a rifle scope adjusting for  longer parallax, yet, after shooting the gun I didn't have any issues at ranges from 75yards down to 25 yards.

Normally I would research a scope before purchasing, but, I picked this one up on a whim as it was on sale at Bass Pro.  So far, I am pleased.

I own a 12 gauge USH (SB2-980).  The scope I have on it is the Nikon Slughunter BDC 200 reticle.  I followed the directions in how to sight the scope in.  In the end I have a gun dead on at 50, 100, 150, and 200 yards.  The scope costs 250.00 dollars, but it is specificailly designed for highly accurate slug guns.  I am very pleased with it and highly recommend it.

Hope this helps

I have LEUPOLD shotgun scopes on mine!!

I HAD a 2x7 VXII on my first USH for a couple years. Two years ago I picked up a 20USH and two VXII MATTE 1x4x20 shotgun scopes for a very good price.  I now have both a 12 & a 20 USH both with matte VXII 1X4x20 LEUPOLDS mounted in Leupold PRW rings on ultra bases, IMHO, a GREAT COMBO!

Is it a FFP reticle? Meaning, do the crosshairs grow as you zoom in with the scope? I can't find any information on it.
