5mm Centerfire
« on: August 27, 2009, 05:14:40 AM »
I was reading about a process that uses 22 hornet brass, trimmed and necked to make 5mm centerfire brass.  I was wondering if anyone here has done it?  And if so...is it worth it?  Compared to buying the original rimfire ammo (when you can find it).  This is for a T/C barrel, so the bolt change in a rifle is a non-issue.  Thanks, JR

Not sure but don't think that's the way it's done. The guy who does the centerfire conversions sells the proper brass and dies as well.
