ATV gun boot suggestions

Have a Polaris 500 Sportsman and want to get a gun boot, required by Colorado law, before hunting season. Any suggestions from someone who has experience with this atv model and mounting gun boots would be appreciated. I saw an inexpensive Kolpin for sale on Cabela's but the reviews were terrible. It rated a 1 out of 5. Don't believe that would be worth the money.

Had a Koplin on a Honda.  Glad it is not required in my state.  Love the Koplin boot as a hard case for travel and airline flights.  Very sturdy.

I put a Koplin case with the plastic mounting base on my ATV and I love it. Good protection from dings and the weather. The steel mounting bases seem to allow the case to vibrate, flop around, and change angle according to guys I asked that had used them. The plastic base is a bit bulky but there's no free lunch.
Bass Pro has the Koplin gunboot IV which I like more than the flip top VI model. The IV has a removeable lining so you can dry it easier if it gets wet.
