Good zero for 209x50
« on: October 09, 2003, 05:11:01 PM »
I am using 150 grains of pyrodex and shooting a .45 300 grain sabot.  I read somewhere that being 2" high at 50 yards produced a good trajectory, but when I tried shooting at 100 I was more than 6" high.  I'd like the maximum bullet height above the line of sight to be 4" or so.  Can anyone reccommend a good zero and describe the trajectory?

Thanks.

I would not sight it in more than a couple inches high at 100. I have mine sighted in dead nuts at 100 and have shot it enough to how much to hold over out to 200 yards.  :D
