Savage 24 hammer extension

FYI, anyone wanting to put an offset hammer extension on a scoped Savage 24, the extension for a H&R Handi rifle fits perfect if you put it on upside down (slot up not down).  The slot in the bottom of it is exactly right to allow the hammer mounted selector to switch both up and down.  Larry

good info....i don't know you but have read many of your posts...you could change trotterlg to "wizardlg" and it would fit you pretty good ;)
