USH Lite Accuracy
« on: August 26, 2009, 10:45:20 AM »
I am in the market for a USH lite 20gauge for whitetails this fall and was wondering what everyone thought of the as far as accuracy compared to the USH in the same gauge.

Thanks,
Matt

matt, While we don't have the ULSH, we do have several Tracker II's in 20 ga. and these are great shooters with Win. 3" partition gold slugs. As far as comparing to the USH, both would be a good choice. Personally I think the USH is way too heavy. YMMV though. Hope this helps

I've got a 20 gauge Tracker ll barrel that I mounted on my receiver that has a thumbhole stock.

It's pretty light and easy to handle and is perfectly balanced for me.

I sold the 12 guage Tracker ll I had on my receiver first because I didn't like the rifle sights, and after I had fired a couple shots with it, I decided the recoil was just too much for me, and I thought recoil didn't bother me, so I was wrong.

Anyway figured the 20 wouldn't be much better, but after firing it I was pleasantly surprized, even though I had added a few ounces of shot into the stock, with the sling, and scope, the recoil I barely notice now, and plus I'm not carrying around a lot of weight like the USH would be.

Accuracy is a clover leaf at 50 and I haven't gone beyond that!
My culled down Handi's are the 45-70, and then I have a few others to keep it company...357 Mag/Max. .45 LC/.454 Casull Carbine, .243 Ultra, and 20 gauge Tracker II.
