One other sour note

A person was referred to our classifieds in order to sell his cannon.  The person joined GBO and for their first post posted an ad to sell.

That violates the rules for the Classifieds.  The Classifeds are for you the regular user, not for the one time, non participant, drive by sellers.  The post was deleted and that poster is now angry with us. 

Please if you refer people to our board, suggest they read the board rules before they join and before they post.  If they find these rules  not to there liking they don't have to join use. 

This board has a very narrow focus and we work very hard to maintain that focus and we believe that is what makes this board what it is.

as you said dd , its a very narrow focus
but its that who keep the most of us here I believe .

you and cw does a more then great job to try to keep us on the right track sometimes

I belong to a couple of other special interest forums that have buy/sell sub forums, but those areas are locked to new members until they have accumulated
a post count of at least 50.   That pretty much eliminates this sort of situation happening in the first place.
