quick question
« on: October 04, 2009, 01:43:04 PM »
I just had a quick question for you guys... I am pretty interested in picking up a coach gun.  But I was told I couldn't "buy" anymore guns because I got a bike a few months ago.  So I was considering a trade.... would a Russian SKS be a good trade for a coach gun?  Do many shops take trades?  If not I guess I will have to find some guy at work who wants to trade or something.  I kinda like the coach guns with functioning hammers... what do yall like better?

Thanks

Most all gun shops take trades. I'd think the SKS should be worth more than most such coach guns. Unless you are into CAS shooting and looking for style points go with hammerless.

What about a Taurus 9 shot .22 revolver with a 4 inch barrel?

Probably worth less than the shotgun. I'd imagine you'll need to pay boot. My advice is to keep what you have and save your money until you can afford what you want.

I hear you...  I may have been saved... this old dude at work said he would sell me an old stevens side by side for $100.
