I fired an M14 today in both FULL AUTO and in SEMI AUTO awesome gun. A little uncontrolable muzzle climb in full auto but an awesome gun in semi auto. When I heard the price of the select fire gun forget it!! 8K??

I am jealous! My dad always talks about shooting those in the army...I have been looking for one in semi only(for price reasons) to give him as a gift.

I haven't bought any american military guns yet but an M14 is on my future wants list now they are sweet to shoot too. Semi-auto of course. BigBill

Congratulations! A new convert for the fraternity!

The M14 is probably my all-time favorite rifle, probably because I've fired more rounds through them than any other gun. There's almost nothing it can't do!

I went Distinguished with the '14 but now compete with the Plastic Unmentionable. The 16 is a tool, the 14 is my brother. Damn Jarheads!
