marlin 917 cfs ?

Wanting to put a bipod on my marlin.It has the plastic carbonfiber stock.Wanting to know if the sling screw is threaded or molded into the stock.I ask this because the trigger guard is all one piece.THANKS also any recomendations on bipods shooting off bench and prone.

I just got one of those bipods that will connect to the sling screw.
It works well on mine and it has another sling hole on it also so I can still carry it via a sling.
