Anybody doin any bowhuntin? Had any luck? I haven't gotten a chance to go out, been real busy. I have been shootihng my old recurve a little, and shot real well. Hopefully will get to go soon. I like to wait until it cools up a little too though, the ticks and mosquitos eat you up, and you sweat and stink up your stand.

I'm in southwest ky at the TN line. I've been going a lot since the opening back the first sat of Sept. Been seeing a lot of good bucks but not a shooter for me. KY only gets 1 buck and I'm watching a big un that I'll get since he's living in the middle of my bean field. And he is a big un, 165 to 170 last year. Last time I saw him he was shedding velvet and looked like a moose. I did draw on a smaller one of about 135/150 but gave it second thought as it is still mighty hot for deer hunting and I didn't want to fool with dressing out a deer and decided to wait on the big boy. It's still great to be out there knowing that you could get one whenever you wanted. Maybe I oughta get a camera and shoot with that.

Went this past Saturday morning in Scott County. Seen four nice bucks at day break plus eight does, but none close enough for me to take a shot. I use a Black Bear Recurve. Was a very good day, lots of excitement.
