Barrel ?

Do the interchangeable barrels( barrelprogram), like the handi rifles, fit the older 2001 pardner, or am I missing something? Sorry if it is a dumb question

generally all barrels need fitting to frames. check the FAQ's for tech support.

Read the accessory barrel page info on H&R's website, generally any frame made since 1987 can be fitted with accessory barrels, but there are some exceptions, it's best to call and ask, they'll want the serial number to determine what barrels can be fitted, build year info can be found in the FAQs. A 2001 SB1 Pardner should be fine for shotgun, muzzleloader, 357mag and 44mag barrels.

yeah I was hping to get like a 22mag, and a .17 hmr barrel

Rimfire barrels can only be fitted to the SS1 rimfire frame, they won't work on a SB1 shotgun or SB2 rifle frame. In general, buying rimfire accessory barrels isn't very cost effective, the barrel will cost almost as much as a complete firearm after you pay shipping both ways, the fitting fee and tax.

Nothing to be bumbed about you can ussually buy a 22 Sportster for $99 - $125 and very good used for maybe less if you look hard enough. Kurt
