I use them but also have each gun in a “Sack Ups” sock. The Sack Ups are a thick sock looking bag that is impregnated with silicone. I have found the annual cleaning to be much easier for the safe queens, they always come out of the sock looking like they have just been cleaned.. I use them on handguns as well as the long guns. Cheap insurance!
I would strongly recommend the Sack Ups for those that live in a humid area.
