Is Matt alive?

There is a gale moving into Prince William Sound.  I hope Matt makes it back alive before it hits.  Supposed to be 20+" of snow at my place tonight. Just a dusting!

Please send some my way.  The "winter storm" that we were supposed to have last weekend turned out to be about an inch :(

We're getting snow in Dillingham.  They revised the forecast mid day for more - only 3- 4 inches more.  I know we can't hold a candle to Valdez - don't want to either.  Hope Matt does ok. Sounds like he could be in for an adventure out there.

We were supposed to wake up to 10" this morning, but it just started snowing ~6 am, had an inch or two driving in, but it's coming down pretty hard now.  It'll be a good evening to get a good roaring fire going.  Few things better then sitting in front of a roaring fire and watching the snow flakes fall.  It'll also be nice to have that white coating to reflect what little night light we have, so it isn't so dark.

We only got maybe 10 inches, hardly enough to try the new snow blower out.  Thompson Pass this weekend is supposed to be a real treat!  40 mph winds and already 2 feet of fresh snow on the ground.  Better pack the winter survival gear for that trip this weekend if attempt the pass.

Actually, bette throw another log on the fire and hunker down.

We made it back early this afternoon just ahead of the gale.  I figured I wouldn't get nervous until the did and he didn't.  Remind you of my dad watching you this Summer, Dave?  Of course, I feel like I'm still aboard the boat and my house keeps rocking.

It was a great trip and I'll post a short story with pics later.

Dave -- Waiting nine weeks?  I figured I'd have the house to myself by now.  You slowing' down?
