Want a CAvalry Model???

Looking for an 1873 Army, Cavalry Model, what are your suggestions, Uberti, Cimmaron, Berreta ( and put on wood grips).  I am looking for something that looks the part.  Any suggestions or input would be appreciated.

Uberti, has a model like that right down to the stamp on the wood grips.  I checked Cimmaron and EMF and while they used to offer those, I don't see them now on their web site.  You may well run across them used, and you could also check Gunbroker.  I see there is a pair of real Colt 2nd gen guns there with consecutive serial numbers, unturned (of course if they were mine, I would shoot them!) if you want to spend the $$$$.  You should at least see them.  Put in 'cavalry 45' and they will come up.  Hope you can find something that will work for you.  44 Man

Uberti without a doubt...  :-\   Well, maybe ONE doubt...  :-[  If I were to ever get another SAA it would be one from USFA!   ;D

thanks guys!  Thinking uberti because of cost.  The USFA would be tops if price was not an issue.  What about putting a set of wood grips on on a 7 1/2 inch stampede?  I can get one for 400.00 nib?  It would not have the cool cavalry markings but at a distance I think it would look acceptable.

thouhgts?

Also if a rich uncle were to die, is there a colt being made that would be of the 1873 bp model?

I'd brown bag until I could get a USFA.  Use it forever and it will still become an heirloom.
