I would say at least up to 60's or even 65's.  Larry

You will have to try it to find out, every gun is different. Traditionally the 55 grain up to 62 grain bullets work, but like Larry said it may stabilize a 65 if it is not too long. You may find that lighter bullets shoot better, even though it will stabilize a heavier one, you just have to find out. Personally I would start with a 55 grain bullet, but make sure it will handle the velocities the 220 swift generates. A Hornady V-Max should handle the velocities and is not an expensive bullet. The Hornady 55 grain SX will not handle the velocity and blow apart in the air. It may shoot a 60 grain V-Max well too - you just have to find out.

My Swift is a 1 in12 with 26" varmint weight barrel. It shoots 52,53,55,60gr well. Its favorite is the Sierra 53gr Match King. It consistantly shoots half minute at 200yds if the wind and my hands cooperate. The 60gr V-Max opens up slightly but seems to buck the wind better. All of the bullets that I have tried shoot minute of varmint!
GOOD LUCK and GOOD SHOOTING!!!

Longer and lighter bullets at high velocities will do best with the 1:12 rate 40 - 60 grain area.
