I posted a question on shooting sabots in a 1/48 twist rifle and it got bumped over to the other side OK Personal to Quicktodo I dont owne a inline I dont like inlines I have 5 TC Hawken rifles 1/48 and 1/66 twist barrels you need to live where I do and maby you will get your head out of the sand, I was asking if any one on the Traditional side have shot SABOTS in there 1/48 twist barrels and if they shot OK that is all. Go get a pack of Barnes bullets{ 3 packs or more and develop a load}  get a loan from the bank first you will need it >:(. The inliners dont shoot 1/48 TWIST BARRELS traditional shooters do. One gent said ask the traditional side. And we wonder why the anti gunners are winning, we need to be ONE stand together not several little groups picking at each other.

Can't speak for Tim, but agree with him moving it.

Most of us traditional shooters (I know, we are an old and dying breed) believe that traditional muzzy's are for shooting PRB's or MB's with real black and wouldn''t be caught dead with a sabot or plastic powder, let alone shoot them in our sidelocks.   So I don't want to see them discussed here any more than I would want to see a discussion about mounting a modern scope on a traditional side lock.  Neither topic belongs here IMO.

Just my take on it.
YMMV

Edit to add:  Guess we are doomed then.   Hell will freeze over before I shoot or hunt beside anybody with inlines when it comes to muzzy's (or with compound bows).
Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

Nim,

Read the rules pertaining to what can be discussed in this forum, sabots can't, if you post another thread on them in this forum, it will be your last post on GBO!! >:(
