TGIF has real significance this week
« on: September 11, 2009, 03:04:02 AM »
Boy! What a week! I've still got a lot to do, but the phrase "Thank God It's Friday" usually doesn't have such relevance to me. Whew!

Yew guys need to retire and relax. I woke up not even knowing what day it was. I had to think on it quite a bit to recall just what day it was. Days have little meaning to a relaxed retired guy who determines what if anything he wants to do based on his mood of the moment.

We just sat on the porch and watched our day begin. It was misting rain and seemed to be picking up not letting up. I had kinda sorta more or less been thinking of using a pole saw/limb cutter to take some limbs off the pecan trees that have web worms in them and perhaps fire up the burn barrel and toss them in and get rid of those miserable critters. But what the heck a rainy day is mostly good for taking a nap so I figured that would do just as well as plan A.

Yes. Good for you, GB! I had a few days off recently and just stayed at home and enjoyed it. No work. No chores. Just enjoyment. It was hard to go back to work.
