I haven't watched a 3 Stooges in years but am smiling right now thinking about it.
I gotta find some DVD's and get my son watching. My kkids already love Gilligans Island and Hogan's Heroes, now I just have to add the Stooges  ;)

I've never knew a woman who appreciated the Three Stooges.
Good luck in finding one who does.
They have to be one of the funniest comedy teams of all time.

Classic comedy, but most women don't get them. :D

I use to watch the Three Stooges and thought they were funny. I also remember one called Curly Joe.

The Stooges are classic comedy and you would be doing your grandchild a gross disservice by NOT introducing them.  Curly was a comedic genius, and Shemp was pretty funny too.  Joe was awful & by the time Curly Joe enterd the picture I think everyone wa past their creative peak.
Still, The Three Stooges made enormous contributions to comedy and hopefully will always be remembered.

Heck YEAH!!!  The Stooges ROCK!  Now, I'm not old enough to have watched them in anything other than syndicated reruns BUT... in the 70's I did RUN home from school to catch their show.  It came on at 3:00pm.  School was 5 blocks from home.  The bell rang at 2:50.  Didn't have to run hard but if I walked I missed part of it.  Sadly, even though there is a HUGE segment of the population today that would still love to have the shows on TV... all we get is JUNK.  The Stooges were for adults but were funny for kids too.  The crap now is for kids and adults don't find them interesting at all.

There are many of their episodes on YouTube that you can watch for free. Amazon.com
is a good source for DVD's. Many times you can get used ones that work just fine for a couple of bucks including shipping.

I remember watching them every Saturday afternoon in the 50s.  My Mom hated them, she would come up with things for us to do to keep us from watching them.  So at that time on Saturday afternoon we made sure we were at the old bachelors house up the street, he always watched them too.

FOND MEMORIES OF THE STOOGES! The food fights, the snoring, oh yea and them jumping on the bulls when they jumped off the train! Still makes me laugh out loud!   ;D

Loved watching the Stooges while growing up. As a young teen, I worked as a pump jockey at a local gas station during the summers. I always took my lunch break at 2:00 PM because that's when the Three Stooges came on. I'd rush home as fast as I could to see how bad Moe was going to beat up on poor Curly that day.
