Just wondering if anybody on here has tried Stumpy's Root Juice. It is made by the folks at Duragloss some say 85% success? Thought I would run it by the GBO folks to get a honest opinion

thanks

Just what constitutes this "85% success"?

I have no clue what it is but likely some mixture of salt and sugar with a fruit flavor or smell. Nothing, I repeat NOTHING you can put out to attract deer whether by smell or taste is going to insure you kill a deer. In my experience most of them actually lessen your chances.

Again I say most of the stuff out there is to get into your wallet, there are NO SHORTCUTS to attracting deer to your area other than year round feeding minimal amt. cover  hard work you cant go to Wal-marts on a Friday evening and buy some magic  LOVE potion for the deer hunt to come off a success, I do keep corn feeders out and going all year, I do keep mineral blocks out all year and as of late I have been looking at the 200 lb. molassis tubs to put out, all of these worked when I was running cattle on my place the deer would be there as often as the cattle.   Jim

99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

I realise nothing is 100%
I was looking to see if anybody had any PERSONAL experience or knew someone who does.

For instance: here in West Virginia my personal experence with the "Deer Cane" is this, have used it since it came out with great sucess in forest and extremely wooded areas, on farm land I cannot get deer to hit it at all. I am now trying it in a mixed; farm, mostly wooded area. If anybody is interested I will gladly keep this up to date.

Grandmas deep suckers worked great everywhere I have tryed them but I cannot find them retail now. So I make a batch of hard candy flavor it with Peanut Butter flavoring pour it in a small pan with a eye bolt. When cooled peel the thin pan away and hang from a tree with a strong rope. In all areas I have tryed this it has worked great. Last pretty good and is a blast to watch. I am getting ready to try a apple & a carmel flavor. The only problem I have had if bears find them lol.

Anybody else has a "secert" recipe?
