It's otherwise similar to the 25th anniversary model except for the engravings; a PG 83 (.454 of course
) with a 7,5" octagon barrel, white micarta grips, 3lb trigger, overtravel screw and a custom serial number. I like the looks and the way it handles! I wasn't sure how I'd like the balance of a longer, heavier barrel, but it isn't that much different compared to my regular barrel 6 incher (also a .454). You notice that it's a bit heavier, but the difference isn't that dramatic. I got it on Tuesday and I'll probably get to shoot it during the weekend...
My friend got his first FA at the same time. His is a PG 83 .44mag with a 4,75" barrel, round butt with black micarta, 3lb trigger and overtravel screw. The gun feels excellent and the round butt-option is a great one for the shorter barrel length. If I'm getting a short barrel FA, I'll definately order mine the same way. I can't wait try it out and see how it handles recoil.
BTW, I posted a thread about wondering what to get, but it was so long ago (last winter) that I was informed to start a new one...
And I'm sorry that I haven't got any pictures for you...
