All the factory drilled & tapped barrels use the same 3 screw pattern, so you can use any H&R/NEF scope rail for the Sidekick. Check the FAQ's for all the different manufacturers of scope rails that fit the H&R/NEF's.

I bought a scope rail that fit but had to scrap it and buy the H&R rail as the cuts were not in the correct place to get the scope mounted fore and aft correctly. I would recommend buying the H&R scope mount rail over any of the other manufacturers rails even though they claim to fit.

Keith, Thanks for the heads up.  I did install a weaver mount and had that problem, did not like it at all.  Is H&R the only place to get the factory originals?

My scope rail is for a remington. When I bought the gun they installed it for me as well. I dont recall what the model number is due to the years passing, but I always thought that was odd that a remington rifle had the same 3 hole pattern as my huntsman. j

As far as I know it is the only place. Maybe someone else knows more???

See the FAQs and Help sticky, ALL scope rails and sources are listed along with pics as well as why the Weaver #82 is a poor choice.
