Anyone have any experience with .257 Roberts in a pistol configuration? Thanks for your input.

I have a 15" Encore barrel in .257 Roberts made by SSK, his first one in this caliber, actually. I'm very happy with it. Haven't hunted it, but there's no reason it wouldn't do double duty for varmints and deer.

Thanks for the reply. I don't know why I want one but I do. I'm going to work towards a encore pistol barrel or buy a rifle of some kind.

I'd bet the 257 R would be a very good round in a 15 inch tube
I have never shot one but seems I've seen some on this board
