Opening day of tree rat season today!

Well, today was opening day of tree rat (squirrel) and off to the favorite patch of oak trees bright and early, must of beat them out of bed, cause after 1.5 hrs me and the  NEF 410 had our limit! 5 shots 5 squirrels! Daughter and I are headed out again in the morning to the other wood patch north of the homestead, hoping she can add a few to the pot!!!!!

Over all a good day! looks like squirrel/gravy and biscuits are whats for sunday breakfast (wifes got them soaking now) MAN, I love my little NEF 410....

Nothin like it! My son has old .410 topper his grandpa gave him. Many rounds of ammo been through that bore, but shoots as good now as when new! Stock was cut down with old remington recoil pad added many, many years ago for shorter trigger pull, short for me, but works great for him! and thats just as perfect as can be! scout4<><
