ENCORE Black Powder Barrels on BACKORDER?

My FFL guy says he can't get a 50 cal Encore BP barrel.

Says all the "big boys" have bought up the entire lot and locked up the market.  Is this true?

Apparently, you don't believe him? Encore .50 caliber barrels are available, and you sure don't need an FFL to buy one.

It's first ordered, first fulled . . . Thompson has no inventory on hand, and enough backorders to keep them busy until next year. The same situation was at the end of 2002 - - - it took T/C until April 2003 or so to fill the previous year's orders.

You'll need a 209x50 forend.

Barrels seem to be available in my area. Order over the net if you cannot find them locally.

If all else fails, buy an Omega. Same barrel with an extra 2" length!
