Air Gun Repairs/Tune:Ups
« on: September 22, 2003, 12:25:49 PM »
Hello to All:

I need info on where a person could get his air guns repaired/and/or tuned up ?? I recently got out my son's old Hahn 45 Single Action BB Pistol that is Co2 powered. I don't have any BB's on hand, do have Co2 cartridges, tho., and will get some BB's tomorrow. In case it needs new seals, etc., can anyone recommend a repair center ?? I also am taking his old Benjamin Pump Pellet gun out of the gun closet, and see if it needs any thing.

Both guns were o.k. before storing them when he went away to college. I  really would like to get them back into #1 shape again. As always, I really appreciate all of you. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if either of the following folks work on those guns but they seem to be the best and best known in the business:

Jim Maccari  - of Mac1
and
Russ Best of Bestunes.

Maccari has a web site.  You might type Russ Best into Google and see what you get.  If they don't do it they may be able to tell you where to get help.

Good luck

Russ is a spring gun tuner, JM is a maker of spring gun tune kits. If you want your old Crosman and Benji guns fixed send them to Precision Pellet. Rick Wilnecker will be able to fix them as good as new.

If you live in the west then Mac-1 airguns is your airgunsmith. If you live on the east coast then you can use either POresision Peller of Bryan and assoc. both specilaize in the older airguns and repair and reseal them as does Mac -1 All do excellent work and I have delt with both PP & Mac-1 No complaints with either.
