It's 2pm central and the US hasn't disarmed our nuclear capability yet

...Does that mean that since the UN just moments ago decided on a nuclear free world that they will write a UN sanction against the UN by 5pm?

To paraphrase a familiar statement: when nukes are outlawed only outlaws will have nukes.

While I'd like to see a nuclear free world I don't see it happening ever. Were I to be granted power to do anything and magically make any and all things I wanted to happen making all chemical, nuclear and biological weapons vanish from the earth would be my first action. My second would be to remove all criminals, true terrorists, rogue dictators and communists from the face of the earth.

Being human what I'd likely do following that would displease a whole lotta folks and no doubt please many others. Since those powers aren't likely to ever be granted to me as they aren't within the proper perview of mere mortal humans I guess it's not relavant really.

But getting everyone to do away with their nukes, chemical and biological weapons ain't happening unless someone with the powers possessed only by GOD makes it happen. Mortal humans ain't gonna pull it off.

The UN can't do anything, except maybe pass resolutions, or possibly hand out monopoly do not pass go, go directly to jail cards.   
I agree nobody has the power to get rid of nukes or the like.  We do have idiots in place in our government that might try to get rid of ours first though while many other nations keep theirs.

Obama is a damned fool if he thinks the world will disarm and become the dream world he and the other far lefties want. It ain't gonna happen.

If we get  rid of ours some little puke like Ahkmenijad will blow us to Kingdom Come.

Like the rest I feel that if just if we could turn the clock back and not have them it would be great but the geni is out and there is no return.
