I just got back from the range and it was a bit cold here in central Indiana. I only shot one of my Contenders today, the 21", tapered, .22LR Match (blue of course) with a Williams FP-TC/TK rear sight and a Lyman 93A Globe front sight.
Now this little G2 carbine is REALLY FUN to shoot
My other four G2 barrels all have Leupold scopes on them, they shoot really well, BUT they just aren't as much fun to shoot as the little iron sighted bugger is
The Williams FP makes it really easy even with my 66 year old, nearsighted since 5 years old, Varilux glasses equipped eyeballs. Oh yeah... shooting at 50 yards at 50 yard NRA smallbore targets.
