New to Board and new Encore
« on: October 13, 2009, 10:29:12 AM »
 Hello, Everyone
I've been reading the posts and finally found a good deal on a Encore, Like new .308, walnut, iron sights and scope base, box, no manual.
This rifle doesn't look like it's ever been fired. $485 from the gun store.
I mounted a Burris 2x7 mini w/Leupold QD rings, can't wait to shoot it.

Thanks, for the welcome and info on manual.
It is a 32mm objective, it's an old scope.

Welcome, as the other guys stated it gets pretty addictive.

I had on of those little Burris scopes. Great little glass.

I have several Encores and use the Leupold QD's on six different barrels. They have always performed perfectly. Just be sure to check and make sure the levers are firmly in place. I did have one get knock loose once. Not sure how, but a quick push as you get on the stand and your good to go.
