Parker-Hale's barrels are cold forged (Hammer Forged) and of excellent quality however individual rifles depending upon how they have been treated may shoot mediorce or even poorly. If the crown is undamaged and the throat not unduely worn then fine accuracy should result depending on the bedding being still good.
Oh please be aware than P-H rifles were
NOT free floated except the 1200TX target model and the 1200 V (heavy barreled varmint model) the models 1000, 1100, 1200 super, M81 and Safari all had pressure point bedding. In that they have a bedding pad under the barrel at the fire stock just behind the fore stock tip.
My own P-H 1100 De Luxe in 30-06 does not seem to like the lighter bullets, i.e 130 grainers but shoots well with 150 grains and heavier yet my 1100 Lwt in 308 loves the 130 grain Hornady's so you will have to experiment slightly and find otu what yours likes
but then that's part of the fun is it not?
