« on: October 13, 2009, 03:40:58 PM »
Have a 41 mag that I recently aquired to deer hunt with. The only ammo I have been able to get is winchester 175 grain silvertip hollowpoint . Has anyone tryed this round on deer in this caliber or other similar to 41 mag?   Thanks

I used a .429 Silvertip 210 grain. One poorly placed shot in the liver of a deer. It ran 100 yards and bled out. A very destructive round, the bullet went completely through.

If it performs the same on humans as on deer you are going to have a lot of ruined meat
