Adjusting rear sight on 1892 clone
« on: September 29, 2009, 06:35:02 AM »
I have a 45LC 1892 Hartford (Rossi manufacture) with a buckhorn rear sight.  I use it for CAS and at cowboy ranges it is accurate enough.  I have toyed with the idea of using it as a brush gun this deer season.  I note that at 50 meters it consistently shoots about 2 inches to the right.  Which direction do I tap the rear sight to move it to zero?

Move rear sights the direction you want bullet to go. Move front sight opposite the way you want bullet to go. Rule applies to all guns with iron sights.
