Bear with me...Best medium frame auto for lefty conc carry

I'm a lefty. I don't like striker fired autos.  I like 9s and 40s.  My budget is <600.  The cz 75 compact feels great in my hand.

Mandatory features include ambi safety, decocker, medium size for conc carry.

I'd really appreciate your help.

If you like the CZ, get it, shoot it and enjoy.  There are few any better and a lot that are worse.

I have a 9mm CZ 75 that shoots  anything dependably and it's adequately accurate for self defense.  Full size gun with a fat grip.  Bought it used, very reasonable.  May have been a police issue.  Looks like factory poly refinish.  It's pretty easy to like.  I'm not looking for anything in it's class to replace it.

Sharkey it sounds like you already have your mind made up! However, I can't really help you because my CCW tool is a Glock and they have a "striker" that YOU don't like right. I have Sigs, Kimbers, Colts, Springfields, Smith & Wessons and Glocks. CZ makes a very good product in a handgun, if the grip fits good (feels real good in your hand) then purchase the pistol and bring it home.

PS......Glock 21-SF has an amb. safety on the 45 acp caliber and holds 14 rounds, also rail for laser or light.

First find the action type, size, and caliber you can live with. Then concern yourself with How it feels in your hand
As you have ruled out striker fired, looks like you have DA/SA, DA only, or SA. There's lots of choices there. Good luck! The CZ you mentioned is a fine choice. If you get a decocker, you won't need an ambi safety, or a safety at all for that matter.
