please pray for my wife...
« on: September 30, 2009, 07:18:03 PM »
for those of you who know the power of prayer ,,im asking for you to go to the lord on our behalf ..
i don t really know any of you ,,an yet i do ..what ever that means..
my wife has suffered in the last short while some neuralogical happening that has caused fairly severe short term memory loss.. i think sometime ,,possibly at night,, she has suffered an mini stroke...
ive been trying my best to get her to go in for an mri but she balked constantly until tonight...
what i was seeing at home ...i knew they had to be seeing at work.. so shes been called in tommorrow..
i think they want to dismiss her an make it appear she was incompetant.. when its evident to everyone whats happened..so tonight she called and has aggreed to go for an mri tommorrow. if we can get it schedualed.. her M.D. has already been trying to get her to go for it..
so we need your prayers believers..this is a good women...anyone familar with this type thing knows the big stroke may be just around the corner..its a struggle for me to watch it ,,although she s kept good spirit ,,as she was in denial..now or at least tonight she s not an shes at work,, but really down,,she expects to be dismissed tommorrow.... mabe we can finally do what ive been pushing for for several weeks..my faith is total... i need the prayers of those who share my faith in god.. pray that he will take an hand an look after my sweet karry..he is our benevolent father ... she s had a unbelieveably rough life ..she deserves some rest and care now... ill look forward to caring for her an enjoying our life,, until one of us goes over..i just always thought it would be me first as she s only 58 ..
                    thank you a.w. marks ....slim

Slim.   My prayer life is what sustains me from day to day. I belong to a Monday morning prayer group, and I have witnessed many miracles that have been the result of God's hand, brought about by this group of men. I will gladly lift you and your wife up tonight. I will also add her to the Monday morning prayer group. May God somehow give you peace during this struggle.

Prayers for both of you ...sure sounds like a mini stroke ..my father had that then a massive one that took him down for good. The doctor said had we be able to get him to the hospital in the first hour or so after the first mini they could have reversed the effects of.

Sadly he was so stubborn he refused treatment when I called for an Ambulance. They refused to touch him when he said he wanted no treatment even though obvious to all of us at the time that something bad had happed to him. He did not see it and being one that never went to the doctor refused the one time that might have saved his life.

I am glad your wife has now come around toi getting to the doctor hopefully it can avoid a deeper tradgedy.

Praying for her to seek help and praying for you to be able to deal with it whatever way it goes.

  Slim;
God bless you both..prayers already sent and will continue..keep us posted.
Have you told her employer that she has a medical problem? Try appealing to them from the medical perspective. If not, I believe from this distant perspective at least, that you ought to.
If they are unaware of why she has problems, they may be more understanding and keep her spot open. Although I am normally one of the last to suggest legal action in most instances, perhaps this is one thing you may consider. If they fire her after because she has a medical condition, I would suspect that may be very shaky grounds. Do firms normally fire someone who develops diabetes or stomach troubles?
I am no lawyer, but if they do indeed let her go because of this medical condition, it may be worth your while to contact one. Sometimes just the knowledge that you have seen one changes minds.
   Prayers continue...

thanks so much everybody.. red tail it sure is frustrating when they don t think anything is wrong,,an get defensive about it..
being called to the office ,at work, i think made her face the reality of it..she accepts whats got to be done now .. we are waiting for our doc to schedual the mri as i write..
nothing keeps her dn though.. she was laughing yesterday about what a pair we gonna make.. :)
ive always been sorta absent minded.. i ll callit that anyway.. thanks again ,,all of you .. know that we
appreciate your prayers so much ...yall have a good day now,,slim
ps it may take a bit.. but i will follow up here ,,as to what the results are of the test..
if she hasn t had a mini strok then it simply has to be a medication problem , i guess.. but it sure came on fast..
