It seems to me that I recently saw a muzzleloader barrel for the Contender. Not the Encore, but the Contender. Was I dreaming?

I haven't seen one but I heard you can get a 209x45 pistol barrel for the Contender. I looked on T/C's website and they show a 209x45 carbine barrel but no pistol barrel. Mike

It's for the G2 and it's in 45 I think and 50 but not a pistol barrel  I was told OFF THE RECORD that , if worked on it would fit the contender
and yes you could buy a custom pistol barrel from  gonic arms but hold on when you hear his prices

Midway sells a .50 cal blued 26" ML barrel for the standard Contender (not G2) that is made by Virgin Valley. It comes with a forearm, but hold on......... it's $524!

I guess the next question is: Knight or T/C Omega?  It makes no sense to shoehorn a muzzleloader barrel on the contender.

The G2 factory barrel will fit the Contender. All ya have to do is remove the pin hanging from the barrel lug.  But you didnt hear it from me!

I've got the Gonic GA 90, 209 x 45, 16 inch barrel for the Contender.  I've never fired it.  Has a Williams rear sight with a hooded front.  Came with a fore arm and ram rod, plus the take down tools.  It's well made,  I may have to put it on a frame and see if she'll shoot this year.
