buffalo classic reline;

hi guys;  i have a buffalo classic  45/70 and am thinking about relining it and chambering it to  32/40. has anyone done this with good results, and who would you recommend to do the work? thanks art

Haven't done it, but Wayne York does it, he's done a lot of work for members here and is a GBO sponsor.

Could BC be relined and bored/chambered 40-70? Not a thick enough liner?

Dunno, but I'd think so, that would be a question to ask Wayne, Track sells .40 cal barrel liners.

could work out cheaper to sell the barrel and get one that could just be rechambered.
