What distance do you sight in your G2 44 mag pistol to shoot dead on?  I'm wanting to shoot 280-300 grain cast bullets.  For now I am shooting iron sights.

I hunt deer with my .44 mag model 29 with 8-3/8 barrel. It is sighted in dead on at 75 yards. I do not shoot further than this at deer, I want good penetration and I feel at 75 yards, I am at my Max as far as energy and penetration go, using a 240 grain hollow point bullet.
