i wanted a comparison to coyotes shot with this bullet at about 3700 fps. this one was shot at 60 yards, as you can see it is very explosive.
this coyote was shot just in front of the leg at a 45 degree angle. the lucus 40 gr hp bt did not exit or open a entrance hole, perfect. range was 125 yds
this full grown adult male was shot at 100 yds with the lucas 40 gr hp bt. the bullet exited the off side with a rather small(50 cent piece sized) hole.
the coyote ran about 90 yds after being hit. a second shot was not needed , i could tell by the way he was running thet he was chaseing rabits in the happy hunting grounds.
