I see one in Dixie gun works for around $200. Is it worth the money. I have two C&B pistols. Would like to get a rifle.

Charlie

I found the St. Louis Hawkens at Midsouth.com for $175. If you don't need all the brass, the Lyman Deerstalker is a great buy at $189. Here's the link. Click on CVA Percussion and Lyman Deerstalker.

Here's another 1-48" twist long rifle (32") to check out. A good buy at $249

Great links' t7!!
Good Tyme Charlie,, go for the Lyman!! the snail breech alone will beat the drum hand's down! If yer gonna ask, then trust. The 1-48 is a toughy but can and has been well proven :-) . Fer 200 and a starter rifle ,,cain't beat that! Many will say "spend more!",, ya right,me too,,,,with proper care ya can swap/sell/er up-grade.

t7, I ain't forgot about the patchin,, :D
