375 Ruger Alaskan
« on: February 05, 2010, 05:56:42 PM »
I am interested in purchasing a 375 Ruger Alaskan and would like some advice from someone who has fired the rifle.  Given the short barrel, did you find that accuracy was diminished?  How does the accuracy compared with other 375 H&H rifles you have fired?  How does the recoil compare with other 375 H&H rifles you have fired? Any advice you may offer will be greatly appreciated!

My 375 H&H the recoil Doesn't bother me. But I mostly shoot it standing up.  When I shoot sitting down I use a recoil pad.

Short barrels work fine. I prefer the recoil impulse of the 373H&H
