I'm betting some positions got eliminated, foremen are yarding trucks, and will be for a month or so, when the HR fairy waves her wand and the position reappears.

Heck I just had $5000 worth of damage to my work truck wednesday. A deer commmited suicide on the front of my truck. Thats what our company has liability insurance for. I'd still like to see your company try to take money from this employee for this. Thye have a choice to either terminate for non reporting of damage to company equipment, or thye need to shut up and fix it. Remember this term, hostile workplace, you will hear the lawyers suing your company use that term regularly in the lawsuit.
